Just want to thank you for taking the time to answer all my e-mails with all the questions that I had as to the pastry sheeter for our milk tarts.
As you know we were rolling our pastry by hand for the milk tarts, now that we have your pastry sheeter it has made it a lot easer and giving us more free time. We also decided to start making a few Cocktail Pies and bought your Mini Hand Sealer and for the fold over pie we got the bigger Hand Sealer both work great. I would like to say that your sheeter and your Hand sealer are made to a very high standard not found to often these days.

To end I would like to thank you for your excellent service, doing as you said you would, going out of your way to please your customer, I would certainly recommend Pie Designs & Solutions products to anyone who is in the catering business.

In August 2009 we purchased a Lidding machine and Pastry sheeter from Pie Designs.

Herewith, I would like to thank you for the excellent products that you supplied us with. It has truly made light work of our production.

The sheeter works beautifully as the dough is a uniform thickness. It has also made the production of our Koeksisters very easy.
The Lidder is fantastic as it seals so perfectly. Our fillings don't cook out or seep any more due to the positive seal on our pies.

We can certainly recommend the purchase of these two machines with confidence.

Just want to let you know how pleased we are in our decision to have purchased pie production equipment from you. Your innovative system is not only simple to operate but saves us a great deal of space being so compact. Our customers are always guaranteed consistent quality. Also true to your claims, our manufacturing costs have reduced & our profits have improved. We are able to produce our volumes of pies using a 1/3 of the staff previously needed & still do so in half the time.

Should we have gone the conventional route in manufacturing our pies & opening up our store, we would have had to employ a greater staff contingent, needed much larger premises & required 3 phase industrial electricity as well as a large pastry sheeter; This all at greater cost & much increased risk. These savings naturally have impacted our bottom line in a very positive way.

Lastly, I would like to commend you on the excellent back up service that you provide & always being available to assist us in answering any questions that we’ve had regardless of the time of day.

You supplied us with the very first pie machine you ever made, way back in 1992. This was in fact the original prototype.

This machine has to date produced more pies that I dare to count, and has been an invaluable asset to our pie manufacturing business over the many years. We have always been able to produce our volumes of pies with a very small amount of staff due to the efficiency and speed your system ensures.

Since 1992 incredibly there has never been any need to service or maintain our pie machine and it's still going strong.

In May 2008 I purchased the Pneumatic Cold Blocking Machine and Lidding Machine from Pie Designs and Solutions, in an effort to expand by business and increase my production.

I was sceptical that the machinery could do all that it promised, it seemed too good to be true. However, after talking to some of the Pie Designs and Solutions existing customers I decided that the risk was worth it.

I have been amazed! Prior to purchasing the machinery I was producing 4000 pies per day utilising 16 staff members. I now produce 7000 pies per day with only 11 staff. The quality of my product has improved to the point where I am receiving calls from my customers commenting on this. Without increasing the selling price of my pies, I now make a profit in excess of 100%. The savings in flour alone equates to approximately 25kgs per day. In short, my saving per month in labour, electricity and raw materials costs is in excess of R20 000. That's R20 000 which was previously cost, now turned into nett profit.

The machinery is so effective, yet simple to use. The training of the staff has been so easy to undertake. we were supplied with an instructional DVD with our purchase which ensure that we can operate the machine effectively as well as prolong the life of the machine and tooling. In addition, the after-sales service has been outstanding. Not only are Pie Designs and Solutions happy to assist with enquiries regarding their machinery, but also with other tips and advice relating to the industry as a whole and I have been able to phone them a any time.

I can say, without a doubt, that had I not purchased the machinery and experienced the increased profits and reduced costs I would have had to close my business, instead I am now looking at purchasing additional machinery. I am looking forward to the launch of their filling Depositor and Dough Portioner shortly which will further enhance my business and I'm sure will further increase my profits.

Since purchasing this machine I have experienced quite a turn around in my business I have been able to increase my production without having to employ extra staff.
