Non-Round 01/02 Pneumatic Blocking Dies

 

We create speciality non-round food forming dies for almost any shape or type of container. 

Air release Non-Round Cold Pneumatic Blocking Dies for the precise forming of pie bases, tarts and quiche shells.

Cold pastry and dough forming dies are available for square, rectangular, triangular, oval or scalloped type pie containers.

 

 

Non-Round 01 Pneumatic Blocking/Forming Dies from 35²mm(1,4″) to 160²mm(6,2″)

Non-Round 02 Pneumatic Blocking/Forming Dies from 160²mm(6,2″) x  185²mm (7,2″)

 

  • Thicknesses are fixed and manufactured into the dies.
  • Can form tart shells as thin as 1mm (0,39″) to as thick as you need.
  • For forming of a wide variety of food product that binds together such as pie bases, tart shells, pie shells and quiche bases.
  • When fitted to the 01 pneumatic blocking machine at a running pressure of 7,5 bar, forming cycles are fast at 3 seconds per “part”. Where for the larger 02 pneumatic blocking machine, with its large die and greater capacity the cycle time is between 6-10 seconds. 

Please note that we would require undamaged pie container/foil samples for the design of your dies, and testing. Accuracy in our measuring is vital, so please remember to package your pie foils securely in a box or container.  We would require a minimum of 10 undamaged pie foils/containers.

Singular Pie Dies are made up of a combination of two main parts; Explained as follows.

Therefore in reference, keep in mind that any mentions of Die or Tool are the same thing as a Pie Die Set. Where “set”, refers to the two parts or components, that make up a complete pie die or Tool.  This is commonly referred to as either the, pie die top (top die/toolset) for forming pie lids/tops or pie die bottom (bottom die set) for forming pie bases and tart shells.
 

Blocking Die to form the pie tops  = Is a Lid/Top Blocking Die to form your pie lids/tops
Blocking Die to form the pie bottoms = Is a Base Blocking Die to form your pie bases/shell
